Recycled glass countertops are becoming popular as the public becomes more aware of the environmental impact we have on the world. These countertops are very durable — nearly as durable as granite. They are made from 85% recycled glass material and joined by concrete.

 

This material is made entirely in the United States. While most of the glass is generally collected from curbside recycling, some comes from windows, drinking glasses, automotive glass and even traffic light lenses. It is recommended for recycled glass countertops to be resealed yearly.
